During Halloween, my family likes to get together and put on a haunted house for the neighborhood children. There would be a fog machine and a spooky music recording. When we arrived there, depending on the holiday, she would have one of these cookie jars on the counter filled to the top with cookies for her grandchildren. We would always sit around the table in her kitchen and snack on cookies and milk while she asked us about our trip.

When I was younger Halloween was one of my favorite times of year.
