According to one legend St. Valentine was the first one to ever send a Valentine. As the story goes, while he was in jail he fell in love with a young woman who had visited him during his duration, presumably his jailor daughter. He composed a love letter to her and signed it “From your Valentine”, a phrase still used to this present day. No one knows the true stories behind this mysterious person, but many regard him as a compassionate, courageous, and most importantly as a romantic figure. That is how the world now celebrates Valentines day. Shrouded in mystery and passion.
A very romantic gift to send this holiday to your Valentine is the
Valentine and Romance Basket. This gift includes a solid chocolate heart wrapped up in red foil, to show how much your heart is filled with love. Then we have the delectable Godiva milk chocolate-covered strawberries, chocolate covered cherries, chocolate dipped white and red marzipan hearts, and for that really romantic touch, a single red rose. The rose is of course solid chocolate wrapped in red foil. Romance and passion is what this gift will relay to the recipient
