Shipping

To ensure your gift or gift basket arrives at its destination when expected, we offer a variety of shipping options including FedEx and UPS. Depending on the type of gift basket you are sending, the shipping methods will vary. The most economical form of shipping is Ground; however you may select your preferred shipping method on the product detail page when checking out. If your guaranteed air order arrives late due to our shipping carrier’s fault, you will be credited 100% of your air shipping charge for the given item. Charges will differ based on volume and weight.

Shipping methods available do not include processing and packaging times which is normally same day or next business day:

Ground Delivery will vary depending on destination, 2 – 10 days.
3 Day Delivery in 3 business days.
2nd Day Delivery in 2 business days.
Next Day Air Delivery the next business day.
Next Day Air AM Delivery the next business day before 12:00 PM.
Saturday Delivery will arrive the next Saturday.
Saturday Delivery will arrive the next Saturday.

All gift baskets will be shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday thru Friday. Please be aware that shipments will not be made on Saturdays, Sundays or National Holidays. With this in mind, be sure to place your order early enough to arrive in time for your special occasion.

Our gift baskets ship from various locations including OR, NY, MO, and CA and are normally shipped within 24 hours of receipt. At this time, we are only able to ship within the United States. All shipments made to Hawaii will ship either 2nd Day Air or Next Day, additional charges may apply, contact Customer Support for additional information. Next Day Air may not be available in all areas of Alaska. During December, which is our peak Holiday season, there may be a delayed processing time of up to one week….so order early!

Holiday Orders - For orders placed after December 11, we adhere to the same shipping policies as UPS and FedEx and therefore cannot refund shipping charges for Ground or Air deliveries delayed due to high volume, severe weather or natural disasters.

Hospitals / Businesses / Hotels

If you are sending a gift basket to a hospital, please make absolute certainty that the recipient will be there once the gift arrives. If you have doubts, please ship the gift to the recipient’s home address, or to yourself to deliver in person. The Gift Basket Pros will not assume responsibility for gifts that are not delivered within a hospital due to the patient being dismissed or the hospital staff misplacing the gift.

If you are sending a gift basket to a place of business, please note, that the package may be delivered to a dock or receiving area. It is recommended to notify someone at the business to let them know a perishable package is being delivered. The Gift Basket Pros will not assume responsibility for the business being closed or the recipient not being available.

If you are sending a gift basket to a hotel, please make absolute certainty that the recipient will be in the hotel once the gift arrives. If you have doubts, please ship the gift to the recipient’s home address. The Gift Basket Pros will not assume responsibility for gifts that are not delivered to a hotel due to the guest checking out or the hotel staff misplacing the gift.

Returns and Cancellations

It is our mission to ensure you are 100% satisfied with our products. If for any reason you are not happy, please e-mail us within five days of order receipt with the following information: order number, name, phone number, and the best time to contact you along with a detailed explanation of your complaint. One of The Gift Basket Pro’s customer service agents will contact you within one business day. Any complaint made outside of the five day timeframe, will be handled on a case by case basis, within reason.

If your gift basket arrives damaged, we will send a replacement basket or issue you a full refund for the gift basket (excluding shipping charges).

Orders shipped to an incorrect address due to wrong zip code or outdated shipping addresses are not the responsibility of The Gift Basket Pros. Please be sure to check your spelling and address information carefully before submitting your order, including proper suite and apartment numbers. Incorrect shipping information may delay your order or result in not receiving it at all. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address and the order is to be re-shipped, or if the order is requested to be rerouted to an alternate shipping address, you will be charged a separate $10 fee for re-shipping the order to the correct address in addition to the additional shipping fees. Also be aware, we can not ship to APO addresses, PO Boxes, or anything other than a physical street address within the United States.

Baskets containing food perishable items, fruit, cheesecakes, or fresh baked items may not be returned due to health concerns. If for any reason you need to cancel your order, please notify us immediately. We can not cancel, change or re-route orders already in transit. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

If you are unsatisfied with the gift you ordered and would like a refund, we require the original gift received be returned to us intact and in the original box. If the contents of the gift have been eaten or removed we reserve the right to deny a full refund. Each refund request will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Substitutions

Changes are constantly made to our inventory based on product and seasonal availability. Therefore, substitutions may be made for products with equal or greater value. When making substitutions, we will ensure that every measure is taken to ensure the highest quality and the most professional taste. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Gift Baskets containing chocolates will be substituted with products of equal or greater value between the months of May and October. This is to maintain the highest quality standards for our customers based on seasonal availability.

Sales Tax

Any item shipped to the state of Texas will be charged 8.25% sales tax. Sales tax is applied to all wine gifts.

Terms of Service

The purchase and acceptance of delivery of alcoholic beverages, such as Wine, Champagne, and other related alcoholic products or gifts, is lawfully restricted to adults of atleast 21 years of age or older. Adult signature and proof of age (21 years or older), is lawfully required upon delivery. Upon failure, to provide signature and/or proof of age, the shipment will be returned to sender and the customer will be refunded the price of the gift, excluding shipping and handling fees.
